New page

ReportComplete can backup reports to a PDF file. This allows the school to keep a permanent record of some or all the current reports.

Here is an example of how-to backup all the reports to either a single PDF or to multiple individual PDFs.

<gallery widths=550px heights=300px perrow=1>
pdfbackup1.png|1. Click the 'Backups' toolbar icon, then select 'Report as PDF', then 'All listed pupils'.
pdfbackup2.png|2. Select 'Yes' to make a single PDF that contains all the reports, or 'No' to create multiple PDFs, one for each pupil.
</gallery>

You should store the PDF files in a secure location as they could be read by anyone who has access to them. The report pages are generated as images within the PDF files, this makes it harder for someone to manipulate them after they have been created and thus more secure than regular PDFs.
